Powell River is a small, seaside city located in the northern part of the Sunshine Coast, in the traditional territory of the Tla’amin, shíshálh, Klahoose and K’ómoks First Nations. The broader area, known as qathet Regional District, stretches from Saltery Bay at the southern end, to Sarah Point at the tip of Malaspina Peninsula in the north, and encompasses Savary and Texada Islands. We are surrounded by stunning natural beauty, with pristine forests, lakes, and rivers, and bordered by the Coastal Mountain Range and the Salish Sea.

Ferry service is also available to/from Texada Island and Comox on Vancouver Island.
